In a remote locality of over 16,000 underserved individuals—where access to basic healthcare is virtually nonexistent—our recent Sadaqah Medical Camp became a beacon of hope. With limited resources but unlimited compassion, we were able to serve 1,510 patients in just one day, offering critical medical attention across multiple specialties.
Despite our best efforts, the overwhelming demand far exceeded our capacity. Hundreds of patients—many of them children and elderly—left without receiving care, simply because we lacked the resources to extend the camp another day. The heartbreak of turning away 750 individuals underscores the urgent need for sustainable, scalable healthcare interventions in this region.
Medical Services Provided
• General Medicine (GMP): 438
• Pediatrics: 185
• Gynecology: 107
• Dermatology (Skin): 780
• Doctors Participated: 11
• Doctor Attendants: 12
• Volunteers Mobilized: 75
Despite our team’s dedication, the camp faced several challenges:
• 260 patients left without medicine due to shortage of supplies.
• 750 patients were unable to receive any service because of capacity limits—we lacked enough doctors, equipment, and space.
• We had projected a $6,900 budget, but only $4,237 was raised.
This $2,663 shortfall directly impacted our ability to provide adequate medication, mobilize more medical staff, and serve every patient as intended.
These limitations highlight the urgent need for greater financial and logistical support to expand future camps and ensure no one is turned away
